Dinamica Plus vs Magnifica Plus
Choose Dinamica Plus if: the 24-drink menu, full-touch interface and international milk/coffee recipes matter to you. Choose Magnifica Plus if: you want a slightly simpler value proposition with 18 recipes and very strong hot-drink capability.
Important: this ECAM38085SB is the newer 24-drink Dinamica Plus. It is different from the older ECAM37095TI Dinamica Plus Connected, which has 16 drinks and Coffee Link app connectivity.

Can I use oat or almond milk?
Yes. LatteCrema Hot works with many milk alternatives. Use them cold; barista-style versions generally foam more consistently.
Is the machine difficult for a first-time automatic-machine owner?
No. The touchscreen guides drink selection and settings. The main habits are cleaning the milk carafe, rinsing the removable brew group and adjusting the grinder gradually if necessary.
What maintenance products do I need?
EcoDecalk descaler and the compatible water filter are the main consumables. The milk carafe’s automatic clean cycle plus regular deeper cleaning are more important than buying many specialty cleaners.
Can I make cold drinks?
The recipe menu includes Over Ice coffee, but this model does not include LatteCrema Cool and does not make true low-pressure Cold Brew like Magnifica Duo or Eletta Explore.

Dinamica Plus FAQ
1. Does ECAM38085SB connect to the Coffee Link app?
The Coffee Link connectivity feature belongs to the older ECAM37095TI Connected model. Do not buy ECAM38085SB specifically for app control.
2. Can the milk carafe stay in the refrigerator?
Yes. The removable LatteCrema carafe can be refrigerated between uses after running the clean cycle; regularly disassemble it for deeper cleaning.
3. Can it make two coffees at once?
Twin-shot preparation is available for compatible black-coffee recipes; automatic milk drinks are made individually.
4. Can I use pre-ground coffee?
Yes, for occasional single preparations using the pre-ground function.
5. How often should I clean the brew group?
Rinse the removable brew group regularly rather than waiting for a fault; weekly inspection is a good habit for frequent use.
6. How often should I descale?
Descale when prompted. Frequency depends on water hardness and use, so set water hardness correctly and use compatible EcoDecalk.
7. Why is my milk foam weaker than before?
Clean the carafe lid, intake tube and connector thoroughly, use cold milk and test another milk formulation if using plant milk.
8. Does Over Ice make cold coffee like Cold Brew?
No. Over Ice brews a coffee recipe designed to be served over ice. It is different from De’Longhi Cold Extraction Technology, which uses a dedicated low-pressure, lower-temperature extraction for quick Cold Brew.
9. Can I make an occasional decaf without changing the beans?
Yes. Use the pre-ground chute for one decaf preparation while leaving your regular beans in the hopper.
10. Why does my espresso taste sour?
Use fresh beans, increase strength if needed, reduce excessive water volume and consider one step finer on the grinder while it is operating. Evaluate several cups before changing it again.
11. Why does coffee barely drip?
The grind may be too fine or the brew path may need cleaning. Move one grinder step coarser while grinding, clean the brew group/outlets and avoid multiple changes at once.
12. Does Smart One-Touch learn what I drink most often?
The interface is designed to surface frequently selected drinks for faster access. It does not mean the machine automatically changes your recipe settings without you.
13. Can each person have different drink settings?
Yes. Up to four profiles are useful for households where people want different volumes, strengths or milk-drink preferences.
14. Are the milk drinks extremely hot?
Milk is intentionally textured below boiling. Preheat the cup and use the highest appropriate coffee-temperature setting if you prefer a hotter final drink.
15. Can I use very oily dark-roast beans?
They can work, but very oily beans leave more residue in automatic grinders and chutes. Medium to medium-dark beans are generally easier for long-term maintenance.
16. Why does a large coffee taste weaker than a small one?
More water dilutes a given coffee dose. Use a stronger setting, a recipe intended for a larger drink, or an extra brewing cycle rather than simply increasing water dramatically.
17. Can I make a Coffee Pot for several people?
Yes. Coffee Pot is part of the 24-drink menu and is designed for multiple servings rather than a single espresso-style extraction.
18. What is realistic daily maintenance?
Run the milk CLEAN cycle after milk drinks, empty the tray/grounds when prompted, rinse the brew group regularly and descale only when requested based on water hardness and usage.

La machine fonctionne très bien. toutefois, étant habitués avec la machine Nespresso dont le café est prêt presqu'instantanement, nous avons dû nous adapter. (chauffage de la machine programmation de notre café, chauffage du lait , rinçage du pot à lait ...) mais maintenant nous sommes habitués et c'est parfait
